We use a medium grade steel grit to take care of most of our blasting work which is then recycled after every job to ensure that you get the very best quality finish
BEAD BLASTING
For more delicate items you may have we use a glass bead which is perfect for cleaning alloy parts that need to remain in a clean looking alloy finish
GRIT BLASTING is a very important part of your powder coated item as it ensures that after the powder is applied it is going to adhere correctly to the freshly blasted item.
We do not blast anything until we are almost ready to powdercoat it, this prevents items from oxidising or being contaminated before the powder coating process. Our blast media is cleaned after every job to ensure you get the best possible finish.
